Where would I use marble? Marble is extensively used for sculpture, as a building material, and in many other applications. It can be used for virtually any type of trimming, tiling and cladding work depending on the combination of marble type, what it will be used for, the climate, and conditions. Marble is most often used for exterior trim: fireplaces and surrounds, shelves, window stills, bar tops, columns, stairs, and table tops. Due to it’s antibacterial properties, marble is an ideal choice for use in bath area such as: jacuzzi surrounds, vanities, flooring, and shower paneling. In general marble can safely be used in low traffic areas.
