DESCRIPTION

Marble is a metamorphic rock resulting from regional or rarely contact metamorphism of sedimentary carbonate rocks, either limestone or dolostone.

What colors does marble come in?
Marble is found in a wide variety of colors ranging from snow-white to black. The naturally impurities create beautiful and unique patterns which increaeses the aesthetic value of the stone.

Where would I use marble?
Marble is extensively used for sculpture, as a building material, and in many other applications. It can be used for virtually any type of trimming, tiling and cladding work depending on the combination of marble type, what it will be used for, the climate, and conditions. Marble is most often used for exterior trim: fireplaces and surrounds, shelves, window stills, bar tops, columns, stairs, and table tops. Due to it’s antibacterial properties, marble is an ideal choice for use in bath area such as: jacuzzi surrounds, vanities, flooring, and shower paneling. In general marble can safely be used in low traffic areas.
