Columns are most often used to decorate the entrance of a building, but can also be used in interiors. In order to accentuate the style of the interior or exterior the columns are often decorated with a base and a cap.
Columns, bases, and caps can be manufactured from a stone of your choice. They can also be custom-made according to your design requirements.
Columns are manufactured in three main ways:
“One-piece” Columns
Solid one-piece columns serve as decorative elements while ”hollow” one-piece columns are filled with concrete and reinforcements for use in construction.
Standard dimensions of “One-Piece” columns: Solid one-piece columns: • maximum height – up to 3200mm • diameter – up to 800mm
Hollow one-piece columns: • maximum height – up to 1800mm • diameter – up to 1350mm
Assembled Columns
Assembled columns are produced by putting together two or more pieces of carved stone to form the column.
Standard dimensions of Assembled columns:
• maximum height – unlimited
• diameter – unlimited
“Cladded” Columns
Cladded columns are made of concrete center with stone-tile cladding.
Standard dimensions of cladded columns:
• maximum height – unlimited
• diameter – unlimited
